- A secure payment drop box is located at the front entrance of the Courthouse.
- Place your payment in an envelope labeled with your name and case number
Infraction Citation - Ways to contest and request a hearing
In Person
- Enter a not guilty plea at the Magistrate Court windows.
By Mail
- Mail a copy of your citation with the denial box checked on the back.
- If you do not receive a response within 7–10 days, please follow up with the Court.
By Email
- Email a statement denying the citation and request a hearing to: kbacon@bingham.idcourts.gov
- Follow up within 7–10 days if you have not heard back.
No Insurance Citation
If you had insurance when you received the citation, please provide proof of liability insurance using one of the following methods:
In-Person
- Bring a printed certificate of liability insurance to the Magistrate Court windows
By Fax or Email
- Ask your insurance company send your certificate of liability insurance to:
- Call (208) 782-3120 to confirm the Court received your certificate of liability insurance
If you did not have insurance at the time you received the citation, the following actions will occur:
- You will receive a letter from the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) explaining the following:
- that you must obtain SR-22 insurance through your insurance provider.
- that you must pay an $85 fee to ITD to keep your driver’s license active.
